One of the greatest rewards a teacher can receive is to be honored by their students. Below are two
examples of the many personal cards I received during my 30-year tenure as a public school teacher.

At the end of each school year seniors were given the assignment to write a letter to the teacher they
felt had the greatest impact during their four years of high school. The letters were placed in the
teachers' mailboxes on the last day of school as the students' final goodbye.
I was honored to receive these and other letters from my students.
